Bath and Body Works Shopping Galore!!

Hello guys! Todays post is not a review of these products ('cause they're so many 😁). I just wanted to share with you what I got from Bath & Body's promotion since the month of July started (I think 😉).

Bath & Body Works

I bought them last thursday (at Sharjah City Center) for my personal use and for my family since I'm starting to fill in my
Free cargo box from Tag from Wow 107 FM Dubai for my short vacation on November.
If I only have enough money, I will buy more. I just hope that they will still have promotions like this before November.

Bath and Body Works Fragrance Mist

I got Aloha Waterfall Orchid, Blue Waters, Citrus Sun, Waikiki Beach Coconut and Honolulu Sun.

     * 236 ml - Regular price : 75.00Dirhams
                       Sale price : 20.00Dirhams

     * 88 ml - Regulat price : 35.00Dirhams
                     Sale price : 7.00Dirhams

Bath and Body Works Body Lotion

I got Moonlight Path, Violet Lily Sky, Citrus Sun, Cozy Sunday Morning, Honolulu Sun and Gardenia & Fresh Rain.

     * 236 ml - Regular price : 60.00Dirhams
                       Sale price : 10.00Dirhams

     * 88 ml - Regular price : 30.00Dirhams
                     Sale price : 7.00Dirhams

Bath and Body Works Shower Gel

     * 295 ml - Regular price :
                       Sale price : 10:00Dirhams

Bath and Body Works Hand Gel

I got Juicy Georgia Peach, Turquoise Waters and Fiji White Sands.

     * 29 ml - Regular price : 15.00Dirhams
                     Sale price : 5.00Dirhams

Whew!! I love all the scents but as I've said most of these stuffs are "pasalubong" for my family. Though my friend is asking me if we can go back there today 'cause she also wants to purchase those products esp the lotion and shower gel. So I think there's a Bath and Body Haul part 2 . I wish that they're still on sale.

That's it for now. Thank you for stopping by. Until my next one.

Wet 'n Wild : Comfort Zone Eyeshadow Palette

Wet n Wild's Comfort Zone eyeshadow palette

This palette is the new addition to my Eyeshadow collection that I bought last week together with my  Essence Longlasting Lipliner that I always wear alone or with my favorite lipstick. I also have the Wet 'n Wild's I'm His Breezy palette that I am going to review in my next post.
This Comfort Zone palette is one of the Wet ' Wild's Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection and  is only 38.00Dirhams at Lulu Hypermarket ( inside the supermarket at Ground floor) in Al Wahda, Sharjah, U.A.E. It is so affordable and at the same time has a superb quality. It is not Matte but it is not too Shimmery. It also has a dual end applicator but I don't like it.  And as you can see on the picture above, it has stamped in as Browbone, Eyelid, Crease and Definer so you will have an idea on how to use or where to apply each shades but it's still depends on how you prefer to use them (like I always did). You can wear them everyday or in any occasions because of their neutral colors.

SWATCHES

Product Description

This eyeshadow feature eight dynamic and vibrant shades with high pigment and pearl for ultra-impact color. A jet-milled base and silicone technology deliver long-wearing, stay-true color for hours of crease-resistant wear. Enriched with Macademia Oil, each shadow provides continuous moisture that improves the appearance of the delicate eye area. The shade combinations can be used together for a daring statement or individually to bring pop of color to your look.

My Everyday Eye Makeup using Wet 'n Wild Comfort Zone eyeshadow palette

    VERDICT

CON's

     * I don't like the applicator that included in the palette.

Overall, I love this palette and I will recommend this to you and to my friends and family who also love makeup. I'm planning to buy their Matte eyeshadow next time.

Essence Long-lasting Lipliner: Review and Swatches

     Hello everyone!!

Today I'm going to share with you my  Review and Swatches of the Essence Long-lasting Lipliner that I purchased recently. I got four shades at the moment, they are the Yummy Berry, A Girl's Dream, Girl Next Door and Sweetheart. I've been using them as Lipstick so I think it will only lasts for at least a month that's why I prefer if they are pencil-like and not rectractable. Good thing they are very cheap (8.00Dirham/each) and has a good quality too. I will definitely buy again and would recommend to my family and friends who also loves makeup.

Product Description
*The perfect pencil for lips with definiton. The Essence Long-lasting lipliner allows you to accurately trace the contours of your lips. The super soft texture ensures a simple application and provides intensive, long-lasting colour that won't streak. With nude shades as well as many other colours, thr choice of colour is huge.
     * They have 9 shades available on their website.

Channel 4's 50K Summer Sounds in the U.A.E

Hello guys! Have you remember about some of the COMPETITIONS that I have posted a week ago? Well, I did not get lucky in any of those but I'm still hoping and trying hard to win my share with Channel 4's 50K Summer Sounds in Dubai. It was started last July 3rd. The competition is about Identifying summer sounds that sum up summer here in the U.A.E.. They will play 5 sounds that are really really really short and you have to guess what they are. You can check here if you want to know more about it and see all the WRONG GUESSES including the sound Number 2  that has been guessed correctly.

Actually, I have been called twice but all my guesses were wrong which are Blender making smoothies, Roller coaster setting off in Ferrari world, Batting a cricket ball, Bungee jumping, Bowling ball has been thrown, Fire extinguisher, Hair dryer, Sky diving and Opening a bottle of water. But I'm not giving up at to this moment. They already gave clues for sound Number 1 ( very close or related to credit card machine sound) and Number 4 where you can find that particular sounds on the locations that they have given on their Facebook page
I really wish to win for my Son's birthday so wish me luck guys!

My New Essence Eye Makeup + Review and Swacthes

OH Yes!! These are my new Eye makeup product from Essence.

Essence (L) Mascara, (B) Eyeliner brush, (R) Eyeshadow base

I bought them last weekend at Lulu Hypermarket in Al Wahda, Sharjah. (where I also bought my WET n WILD Lipstick ). Their stall are inside the Supermarket at the ground floor. I actually wanted to buy just the Eyeshadow base but I can't resist to get the super cute Eyeliner brush  and also to try out the waterproof I love Extreme Volume mascara which I really needed during this time of the year.

I've been using those products for three days now and I'm not disappointed with their quality. To know more about the products let's proceed to the Before and After application x Reviews.

I Love Colour Intensifying Eyeshadow base

Before and After Application

     * Essence I love Colour Intensifying - is a soft rose eyeshadow base that can be worn alone, used as primer and intensifies the color of your eyeshadow. It will also help your eyeshadow and concealer to stay put and lasts.
I noticed too that when I started using this on my lid and under my eye, my concealer doesn't smudge and creases at all. It is way better than my Lorac pro behind the scenes Primer and the other two brands that I used before that. And this is sooooo affordable, you can buy it for ONLY 11.00Dirhams.

I Love Extreme Volume Mascara

Before and After Application

     * I Love Extreme Volume Mascara - is a waterproof mascara for extreme volume.Ultra black.
As I've mentioned, I really need a mascara that is waterproof 'cause of the super duper hot weather  here in the U.A.E. I really sweat a lot you know. Anyway, I already have one from my sister, but I have to apply at least 3-4 times to make my lashes thicker and volumized. But with this Essence Mascara, I only apply twice and voila! It smudge a bit but won't notice  unless you look closely on the mirror. BTW, I bought this for ONLY 15.00Dirhams.

Eyeliner Brush

     * Essence Eyeliner Brush - this 8.00Dirhams angled brush can be used for applying gel eyeliner, wet eyeshadows or your favorite eyebrow product.
I'm really in love with the color and design of this eyeliner brush plus it really gives a precise line while applying my gel eyeliner. I think I will buy another one for my eyebrows.

How about you? Have you tried any of the essence makeup products? If so, please feel free to share your experiences and thoughts on the comments below. Thank you and until my next one.

Common Makeup Mistakes (And TIPS on How to Fix Them!)

Hello everyone! Today I am going to show you some of the common mistakes that I've made on my makeup when I'm not yet familiar with Google and YouTube. LOL!!

So in the pictures below, you will see the THUMBS UP (👍- Right) and THUMBS DOWN (👎-Left) with my Eyes and Eyebrows. I'm not saying that the the Left side is wrong or looks terrible, what I want to emphasize is that the Right side looks nice and flattering. Let's begin in an orderly manner.

          * Choose the right color/shade of eyebrow pencil or whatever you want to use for your eyebrows.                   * Concentrate the dark color on to your eyebrow arc rather than the inner corner of your brows.

( Dark haired people should go one or two shades lighter than the color of hair on the head; Light haired people to go two shades darker than the color of hair on the head.)

           * Apply eyeshadow primer or concealer before applying your eyeshadow so it will blend easily and lasts longer.

( Don't forget to set your primer or concealer with powder to prevent from creasing )

         * Don't apply SHIMMERY eyeshadow all over your eyelid/crease most especially when you have hooded eyes (like mine), 'cause it will look more bigger and puffier. Instead, apply it on the inner area of your eyes and underneath the arc of your brows.

When you apply eyeshadow, remember to blend, blend and blend.

       *  Don't make your lower lashline darker than the upper, 'cause it will looks like your eyes are tired and droopy.

(You can apply the same color of the lighter eyeshadow that you apply on your lids.)

Overall, it's still up to you on how you want to wear or apply your makeup. Do whatever makes you happy and beautiful. I don't want to offend anyone  'cause I just want to share how my makeup improves (unlike before) and  basic tips that I have learned from my favorites beauty gurus.

Hope you like it and until my next one!!

Daiso Japan : Haul and First Impressions Review

My husband and I went to DAISO in Safeer Mall (Al Ittihad road Dubai-Sharjah Highway) looking  only for a Blotting paper (Oil absorbing sheets for the face). Unfortunately, it's already out of stock. The saleslady does not know when it will be available again and suggested to check out their other branches. But because I don't want to go home without anything in my hand and yes, I'm a makeup junkie, I grabbed the opportunity to try out Daiso's beauty products SO I bought all these goodies.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS REVIEW

  • L-Shaped Razor (for face/eyebrows) - This is the most suitable to shave  the eyebrow because of the small-sized razor whose width of the blade is narrow. The blade is non-guard type with an ability to shave clearly. This is compact and convenient for carrying with you.   I love the colors and they are really cute. It's easy for me to shave 'cause my hand fits comfortably on the handle. Product rating **** star.
  • Eyebrow Gel (clear) - It coats eyebrow line by clear gel. I like it since I don't have any eyebrow gel at the moment. Product rating **** star.
  • Gel Nail Brush - Easy to draw gradation. Though the main purpose of the brush is for the Gel nail polish, I use this too with my eyebrow gel and on my gel eyeliner (maybe because they are also gel?LOL). Why not? it's small and angled. I prefer to use this now than my Essence angled brush. Product rating **** star.
  • Eyebrow Pencil (brown) - It's an eyebrow pencil with a spoolie like the Nyx Micro brow pencil. It is indeed waxy and easy to apply. The great thing is it comes with a spare too, so you can use it for a long time. I am not sure how many shades it has but mine is brown. Product rating **** star.

  • Eyelash Curler - The silicone rubber pad provides good cushioning for your lashes, and the curve is designed to fit the shape of the eyelid. This is already added to my makeup pouch. It curls my eyelashes better than my Xclusive eyelash curler. It also comes with a spare rubber pad. Product rating **** star.
  • False eyelashes - Natural straight.
  • Eyelash Glue - It is clear so it won't be obvious when you put on to your false eyelashes.
       * The false eyelashes is simple and looks natural. I bought this for my Makeover 101 series. Because glue is not included, I bought it seperately.

  • Makeup Sponge - It has 10 sponge than can be use for wet or dry in applying liquid foundation or concealer. It's very soft and cute. I only use this for my concealer and I prefer it wet. So far I love the results but I don't like the chemical-like smell. Though it is tolerable. Product rating ** star.
  • Ever Bilena (pink) - You have to apply at least 5 times on your cheeks 'cause it is not pigmented. It doesn't last long either. I still prefer to use my Careline blushes. Product  Rating *** star.
  • Gel look (top coat) - I love this 'cause it is quick dry but it does not gives a gel-finish look. I still choose my natural Caronia than this. Product Rating *** star.

  • Photo Frame - The size of this frame is 3.5" x 5"  (3R). I was really disappointed with this product 'cause the quality is not good.  I should have checked it first.  Product rating * star.

  • Measuring cup - I bought this for my friend who bakes occasionally, partner with the measuring spoon from Ikea. Product rating ***** star.

The price of each product is 7.00Aed but the measuring cup is 9.00Aed. So when you are on a budget like me, Daiso is the place for the afforadable stuffs that you need to your house, office, personal  among other things.

How about you? Have you been to any Daiso store? Please feel free to share your experiences and shopping haul on the comment below. Have a nice day/evening everyone!

NLIGHTEN Eye Gel by NWORLD

And now we're done on the review series of the Nlighten CC Cushion and Nlighten Cloud Cream, let's proceed with my third Nworld product, the NLIGHTEN Eye Gel.

Net weight 10g

       * This product has an elegant gel texture and infused with powerful botanical ingredients through NLIGHTEN's advanced technology. It naturally helps reduce puffiness and helps brighten dark circles. The dynamic vitality of Nlighten's natural botanicals specifically helps replenish the delicate eye area with moisture that helps reduce the appearance of fine lines. Moreover, the innovative neuro-active solution of star lily helps minimize dark spots around the eyes.
      * Formulated without Paraben, Phenoxy Ethanol, Benzophene, Triethanolamine, Talc, Petroleum, Mineral Oil, and SLS.

I've read a good reviews about this product so I decided to try it out 'cause I want to reduce the puffiness and fine lines under my eyes too. When I received it, I was really excited to use it. The packaging is so cute and I love the smell (smells like Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Scent spray). It's also refreshing when you apply. And I noticed that my concealer (under my eyes) doesn't smudge since I started using it so hooray!!

Unfortunately, Nlighten Eye Gel did not even reduce the puffiness and the appearance of fine lines under my eyes. I've been using it every morning and at night with my Cloud Cream for almost three weeks now but nothing has change. I was really disappointed 'cause it's quite expensive. But I'm still hoping not for a 100% best result  but a at least a good one. So we'll see after a month. I will update you guys.

How about you? Have you tried this already? If so, please share your thoughts or suggestions down below. Thank you for your time and until my next one!

I really wanted it so even without makeup, my face will still looks flawless and glowing too and  I was not disappointed to this moment.

_______________________________________________________________________________

PACKAGING

* The container looks really expensive (sosyalin) and sleek.

* Oooppsss... you may notice or not the results of the Nlighten Cloud cream with those pictures but believe me it really do the job on my face.

Review Series No.1: NLIGHTEN CC Cushion by NWORLD

Hello everyone! As promised, I am back for the Review series of the NLIGHTEN products that I have at the moment. The Nlighten CC Cushion, Eye Gel and Cloud Cream. If you haven't read about that post yet, you can check it here

I've been using them for a week now and so far, I am happy with the results. My favorite among the three is the NLIGHTEN CC (Color Control) Cushion so this will be my first to review.

NLIGHTEN CC CUSHION

*This lightweight base makeup helps achieve a flawless coverage and is specially formulated to perform several functions such as to help lighten the skin, help prevent the signs of aging, and serve as sun protection against harmful UVA and UBV rays through its broad spectrum SPF 50+PA+++.

HOW TO APPLY NLIGHTEN CC CUSHION

Down below are my pictures wearing the Nlighten CC Cushion, from May 31 - June 03, 2016. I screenshot each of the picture and collage them so you can see the date, time, and before and after. In these pictures, I used Maybelline White Superfresh and Rimmel Stay Matte alternately in setting up my foundation/CC Cushion.

June 04, 2016

                         *With and Without camera flash.

  PROs

On the first day of using the Nlighten Cc Cushion, I was impressed even the shade is lighter than my skin color. I just set it in with my pressed powder 1-2 shades darker. (1) The CC Cushion is very lightweight as if you are not wearing anything on your face. (2) It leaves a semi-dewy finish which I really like 'cause it looks like my face is healthy and glowing. Though it does not covers my imperfections like pimple marks and melasma, (3) It does leaves a flawless coverage, and very smooth feeling at the same time. (4) I also noticed that my T-zone doesn't oil-up on those afternoons. Actually it is okay not to re-touch my makeup 'cause it is (5) Long lasting, but my eyeliner smudged so I need to. What I also love with this CC Cushion is (6) I can carry it anywhere or put it in my makeup pouch when in a hurry and apply it later, unlike the liquid foundation that needs a sponge or foundation brush to apply. (7) This product is also formulated without Paraben, Phenoxy Ethanol, Benzophenone, Triethanolamine, Talc, Petrolatum, Mineral oil and SLS.

CONs

What I don't like with this CC Cushion are the (1) Price, it is expensive especially for a Mother like me. I would rather send the money for my Son's expenses in the Philippines. (2) They only one shade, so how about those who has darken skin type. (3) Personally, it is not buildable, I used my foundation brush to blend it instead of the sponge provided on the compact. (4) There's no mirror so you need to carry an extra one.

I will give 7 out of 10 for this product. How about you? Have you tried this already or any CC Cushion? If so, please feel free to share your thoughts or comments below.

Thank you for your time and until my next review for my other two Nlighten products.
